Keynote speaker announced for Medical Main Street event

Medical Main Street recently announced that Krischa Winright, chief information officer for Priority Health and vice president of information technology for Spectrum Health, will be the keynote speaker for INNO-VENTION 2014, Southeastern Michigan's premier healthcare and life science conference. Winright will present "Digital Web & Mobile Experience: What Does It Really Mean for Healthcare?" INNO-VENTION, now in its third year, will be conducted Oct. 21-22 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. "We're delighted we were able to secure Ms. Winright as our keynote speaker," Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson said. "Priority Health insures more than 600,000 residents so our speaker will have a bird's eye view of the challenges that face healthcare and technology." With more than 20 years of technology and health care experience, Winright has been instrumental in leading the development of initiatives to improve the consumer experience and keep Priority Health at the forefront of the industry. Examples of her work can be seen through the company's launch of consumer-convenience initiatives such as its transparency program that publishes facility costs for nearly 300 procedures and a virtual visits system that enables individuals to see a doctor from their home.
