Eastern Michigan launches Center for Digital Engagement
The Eastern Michigan University College of Business, seeking to continue its leading role in educating area businesses and organizations on how to succeed in the digital economy, has launched a new center aimed at offering hands-on training in cutting edge strategies in the rapidly evolving digital business environment. The EMU Center for Digital Engagement builds on the EMU College of Business's six-year partnership with Google, Ann Arbor, as well as the school's annual conference, held this year at the EMU Student Center.
A center will provide a connection and rallying point in the college's efforts to promote and grow its digital engagement academic programs that integrate marketing, information systems, and management
The center's planned services will include a monthly guest lecturer series, a student-staffed digital engagement clinic, a central website for organizing interaction with the community, and an executive in residence who will mentor students and act as a resource to faculty.
