Supreme Court justice to speak at U of M in Feb.

ANN ARBOR (AP) - The second female justice to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court is set to deliver the 2015 Tanner Lecture on Human Values at the University of Michigan next month. Ruth Bader Ginsburg will be interviewed on Feb. 6 at Hill Auditorium by two university faculty members who previously served as her law clerks. Assistant law professor Kate Andrias and professor of law and philosophy Scott Hershovitz are moderating the event. Hershovitz also is the director of the Law and Ethics program, which is sponsoring the Tanner Lecture. He says Ginsburg will discuss the things she's accomplished and learned throughout her career as a litigator and judge. Ginsburg was appointed to the Supreme Court by former President Bill Clinton and has served for more than 21 years. Published: Mon, Jan 26, 2015
