Bodman PLC’s Workplace Law Group attorneys have unveiled a series of quarterly “Sunrise Roundtable” sessions beginning March 31.
The complimentary, one-hour roundtables will provide focused updates for human resources professionals, business owners, and other executives, on the latest workplace issues.
The sessions will be held in Bodman’s Ann Arbor, Detroit, and Troy offices for the convenience of employers throughout the Detroit metropolitan area.
The first Sunrise Roundtable series will be held from 8-9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, in Ann Arbor; Wednesday, April 1, in Detroit; and Thursday, April 2, in Troy.
A light continental breakfast will be provided.
The sessions will focus on the Department of Labor’s final rule, issued on February 25, 2015, that defines “spouse” under the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) to include same sex spouses.
