The Macomb County Bar Association’s annual “Installation Extravaganza” will take place on Friday, Sept. 18 at MacRay Harbor in Harrison Township.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. and will be highlighted by the installation of Donald P. DeNault Jr. as the 87th president of the MCBA.
A shareholder with O’Reilly Rancilio in Sterling Heights, DeNault is a graduate of Western Michigan University and Wayne State University Law School. He succeeds John DeMoss as president of the Macomb Bar.
Other officers to be installed include: Steve Becker as president-elect, Karen Trickey-Pappas as secretary and Dawn Prokopec as treasurer.
Three directors also will be sworn in at the banquet — Joe Golden, Frank Briguglio and Annemarie Lepore. They will serve three-year terms.
Laura Marji will take the oath as the Macomb Region’s representative to the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan while Sandy Jarbou will be sworn in as chair of the Young Lawyers Section.
Attorney Charlie Langton, a legal analyst for WWJ Newsradio 950, will serve as master of ceremonies at the banquet.
