The Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency has launched a television ad designed to promote the around-the-clock resources it offers through its toll-free number.
The agency says the TV ad features four veterans in various life stages: transitioning from active duty, preparing for a job interview, exercising with a service dog and in retirement. The stages are meant to coincide with the agency’s four focus areas: education, employment, health care and quality of life.
The spot is part of a campaign that includes billboards, radio and digital advertising.
MVAA Director Jeff Barnes says he wants the campaign to start discussions about veterans’ service to the country and how the agency can connect them with earned benefits.
The toll-free number for the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency is 800-642-4838.
