LUDINGTON (AP) — Yearning for summer? Circle June 11 on your calendar for a free taste of a half-mile-long ice cream sundae.
House of Flavors in Ludington is looking for thousands of eaters, hundreds of scoopers and a cleanup crew. General manager Barry Neal says he’s aiming for a world record.
The sundae will require more than 12,000 scoops of ice cream along eight blocks in Ludington, a Lake Michigan town 100 miles northwest of Grand Rapids.
