Catherine ("Katie") E. Tucker has joined the Sinas Dramis Law Firm as an associate attorney in the Lansing office.
She will concentrate her practice on personal injury matters, including representing patients and medical providers in disputes with insurance companies over the payment of PIP benefits under the Michigan Auto No-Fault Law.
Tucker has been practicing law since 2012. In March 2016, she was honored as a recipient of Ingham County Bar Association's 2016 "Top 5 Under 35 Award," given annually to five Ingham County young lawyers in recognition of their talents, skills, professionalism and civility in the profession.
Tucker currently serves as president of the ICBA Young Lawyers Section (YLS).
She is also an ex officio member of the ICBA and the Ingham County Bar Foundation (ICBF), and has been appointed vice president of the Mid-Michigan Chapter of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan (WLAM).
A native of East Lansing, Tucker earned her undergraduate degree, with high honor, in economics from Michigan State University and her law degree, magna cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law.
While in law school, she received an Academic Excellence Scholarship and several Jurisprudence Achievement Awards, and also served as editor-in-chief of the Journal of Animal & Natural Resource Law.
