Fraser Trebilcock attorney Marlaine Teahan is honored for outstanding leadership
Fraser Trebilcock attorney Marlaine C. Teahan was honored for her service as co-chair of the Probate and Trust Section of the Ingham County Bar Association (ICBA) at the 2016 ICBA Annual Dinner.
Teahan served in the leadership position for five years, stepping down at the end of the 2015-2016 term.
The Probate and Trust Law Section of the ICBA, one of the largest and most active Sections, meets monthly for networking and educational presentations from local trusts and estates attorneys, Judges, Probate Court Registers, and other professionals.
Teahan currently chairs Fraser Trebilcock's Trusts and Estates Department and is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Council (ACTEC).
She also serves as an officer of the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Capital Region Community Foundation. Teahan has achieved an AV peer review rating by Martindale-Hubbell and has been named in both Best Lawyer and Super Lawyer publications since 2010.
In 2015 and 2016, Teahan was named to the Top 50 Women Michigan Super Lawyers List.
