Heidi Hopper, a legal secretary in Foster Swift's Lansing office, has been named Legal Professional of the Year by NALS of Michigan.
Hopper has been a dedicated member of this association of legal professionals since 2005, holding multiple leadership positions and serving on more than 15 committees locally, including treasurer, vice president, and president.
At the state level, she has served as scholarship chair and officer treasurer. Hopper was also elected NALS of Michigan president in late April.
The award was also based on Hopper’s community involvement. She has volunteered with a Sunday school youth program, Cub Scouts committee, and as a competitive cheerleading official.
Her leading legal educational programs include Covert Monday Mystery and Super Saturday Savvy Seminars.
Her fundraising experience includes the First Annual NALS of Michigan Scholarship Fund 5k and NALS of Lansing's First Annual Golf Swing.
