Five attorneys from the East Lansing-based law of Willingham & Coté P.C. have earned kudos.
Anthony Kogut, Michael Stephenson, John Yeager and Kim Hillock have been selected to the 2017 Michigan Super Lawyers’ list; and David Nelson was acknowledged as a Rising Star, which recognizes attorneys who are 40 and under or who have been practicing 10 years or less.
Kogut specializes in litigation and corporate transactions and is considered an expert in alcohol/beverage law. Yeager specializes in insurance law and has spent more than 30 years handling complex insurance coverage issues. Stephenson specializes in defending physicians in malpractice and licensing actions and representing insurance companies involved in litigating complex medical issues. Hillock specializes in appellate law, and has achieved appellate wins for clients more than 60 times in both the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court. Nelson handles multifaceted litigation matters, including medical malpractice defense and no-fault insurance defense.
