Area investment advisors, registered representatives, and trust officers are invited to breakfast and the last presentation in 2017 on “Hot Topics in the Municipal Bond World” by Miller Canfield public finance lawyer Jeffrey S. Aronoff.
The Before the Bell Breakfast Forum will take place Thursday, Nov. 9, from 7:15 to 8:30 a.m. at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham.
Discussion will include:
• A general overview of emerging issues facing governmental borrowers.
• The effect the Trump administration is having on infrastructure finance.
• Perspectives on market trends and legal issues that may be relevant to clients, particularly tax and securities issues.
The forums are informational meetings that highlight securities law issues.
