Four attorneys from the East Lansing-based law firm of Willingham & Coté, P.C. have been named to the 2019 Michigan Super Lawyers list: Anthony Kogut, Michael Stephenson, John Yeager and Kim Hillock. The firm would also like to congratulate David Nelson for being acknowledged as a “Rising Star.”
Kogut specializes in litigation and corporate transactions and is considered an expert in alcohol/beverage law. Yeager concentrates on insurance law and has spent more than 40 years handling complex coverage issues. Stephenson’s practice centers on defending physicians in malpractice and licensing actions, and representing insurance companies involved in litigating complex medical issues. Hillock’s area of expertise is appellate law; she has achieved wins for clients more than 60 times in both the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court. Nelson focuses on first and third party insurance cases throughout the state, either prevailing at trial or disposing of cases prior to trial.
