To facilitate its employees’ participation in Ingham County’s Work Share program in June and July, the 30th Circuit Court and the Ingham County Probate Court will be closed one day per week from June 1 to July 31.
The courts will be closed on Fridays except during the week ending with the 4th of the July; where Friday, July 3, is an employee holiday for commemoration of Independence Day, the Work Share day off will be Thursday, July 2.
Both courts operate out of the Veterans Memorial Courthouse in Lansing. For the foreseeable future, the courthouse will be open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., in general Monday through Thursday.
Public access is limited to the purposes of attending scheduled hearings and making emergency filings.
The Circuit Court in Mason at the Mason Historic Courthouse has been closed for several weeks and will remain closed for the time being.
