The Association of Corporate Counsel-Michigan Chapter (ACC-MI) will present a webinar sponsored by Rhoades McKee titled “The Future of Work: Tackling the Challenges of Remote Work” on Wednesday, September 30, from noon to 1 p.m.
Remote work presents numerous employment challenges relating to such things as employee productivity, privacy of both employers’ and clients’/customers’ data, cybersecurity, time-keeping, and compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. During COVID-19 and beyond, employers will have to balance these concerns together with those relating to reintroducing employees to the workplace. This session will present perspectives on both sides of the equation, and provide employers tools to use in finding the right balance between remote and on-site work.
Speaking at the program will be Mark Smith, employment attorney with Rhoades McKee; and Hal Ostrow, privacy and cybersecurity attorney with Rhoades McKee.
