The Michigan Association for Justice will present its “Annual Trial Advocacy Seminar” online Friday, May 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. via Zoom.
Moderating the seminar will be Steve Gursten of Michigan Auto Law.
The seminar will delve into such topics as:
• Maximizing Damages in Wrongful Death Cases, with Sach Oliver, Bailey & Oliver Law Firm.
• Rethinking Your Damages Paradigm to Maximize Results, with Joe Fried, Fried Goldberg LLC.
• Costliest Mistakes Plaintiff Lawyers Make—Lesson From 10 Years Trying Cases on the Defense Side, with Tim Holland, Michigan Auto Law.
• Thinking Out of the Box- Demonstrative Evidence and Trial Strategies that Can Add Millions to Your Case, with Allegra Carpenter, Allegra Carpenter Law.
• Applying Overcoming Jury Bias Principles, The Reptile Safety Rules, Rules of the Road, and New Research on COVID Bias to Your Case, with Lance Sears, Sears & Associates PC.
Cost for the seminar is $215 for MAJ members, $105 for MAJ members practicing 3 years or less, $105 for MAJ sustaining members, $100 for MAJ student & paralegal members, and $425 for non-members. Sitting judges can attend for free.
