Western Michigan University Cooley Law School’s Wellness Committee will present “Lawyer Mindfulness with Katie Stanley” from noon to 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 22, via Webex.
Stanley, an attorney and community engagement officer at Legal Services of Eastern Michigan, primarily practices in fair housing civil rights enforcement and community education. She is also a Mindfulness Initiative advisory board member at the Crim Fitness Foundation, a Search Inside Yourself
Leadership Institute Fellow, a member of the State Bar of Michigan Lawyers and Judges Assistance Committee, and a regular contributor in the Practicing Wellness column of the Michigan State Bar Journal. Stanley is currently pursuing a doctorate with a dissertation focus on wellness in attorneys following mindfulness based interventions.
