Aiding Ukrainian Refugees

Michael McDaniel, Director of WMU Cooley’s Homeland and National Security Law LL.M. and faculty advisor of the school’s Homeland and National Security Emergency Response and Education Association, delivered 28 boxes of coats, socks, and bedding to the Church of the Nazarene in Traverse City, a collection site for goods sent to a sister church in Poland to help Ukrainian refugees.

WMU-Cooley’s Homeland and National Security Emergency Response and Education Association, led by Homeland and National Security Law LL.M. students Katie Komorowski and Shartel Keith-Groves, provides a ready response team of trained law students able to give back in times of national crisis, or assist communities during an emergency disaster.
