As part of its Cyber Savvy Webinar Series, McDonald Hopkins will present the webinar “Creating a Threat Actor Playbook” on Thursday, January 12, fron 2 to 3 p.m.
To build a solid cyber defense, it is important to understand today's threat actors and the different ways they could exploit vulnerabilities at your company. Knowledge is key to not only recognize how they could breach your company, but also what they do once they get in and how to respond to the damage once its done.
In this webinar presented by the McDonald Hopkins Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice Group attorneys Colin Battersby (Detroit office) and Sanjana Palla (Chicago office) will explain the value in threat actor profiles and how to use the information to protect your business. They will also provide an overview of recent trends when it comes to cyber attacks and the best ways your business can respond.
Topics to be covered include:
• Social engineering and ways threat actors are compromising systems
• Introduction of attack types
• Trends in ransomware attacks/variants
• Addressing ransom demands
Battersby is certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals as a Certified Information Professional for the United States. Prior to joining McDonald Hopkins, Battersby was the co-founder and co-leader of the Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Service at Miller, Canfield, Paddock, and Stone PLC.
