Prosecutor, sheriff to discuss 'The State of Child Abuse in Oakland County'

CARE House of Oakland County will present the virtual program “1 in 10: The State of Child Abuse in Oakland County” on Friday, April14, from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom.

Attendees will hear from community leaders, CARE House staff, and volunteers about the state of child abuse in Oakland County at this free virtual event.

Speaking at the online program will be:

• Dr. Matthew Denenberg, chief of Pediatric Service at Beaumont Children’s Hospital.
• Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald.
• Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard.
• CARE House President & CEO Blythe Tyler.
• CARE House volunteer Anne Wilden.
