The State Appellate Defender Office and the Criminal Defense Resource Center along with the West Michigan Regional Investigator Association will present a webinar on “Cell Phone Data for the Criminal Defense Investigator” Thursday, June 1, from noon to 1:30 p.m. via Zoom.
The training will address:
• Ethical concerns with a client’s phone.
• What data is available from a cell phone extraction.
• How to get evidence from a client’s phone admitted in court.
• How to triage the massive data dumps from the government
Josh Blanchard will be the featured speaker for the webinar. Blanchard is a partner with Blanchard Law where he and his colleagues focus their practice on criminal defense and police misconduct cases. He is also a GFCE certified forensic computer examiner and a licensed professional investigator.
