Attorneys can learn how to be more tech-savvy with billing by joining the State Bar of Michigan’s Practice Management Resource Center’s virtual seminar “Billing 101 With Tech” on Wednesday, August 2, from 2 to 3 p.m. via Zoom. The program is free for all members of the State Bar of Michigan and their staffs.
Jayden Doyé, an accounting and business consultant, and Deborah Schaefer, an expert in computerized solutions, will speak to attendees. The two speakers will discuss automating billing, coordinating billing and accounting, and managing trust accounts. By implementing these tips, attorneys will be able to streamline their billing processes and ensure they run smoothly.
Doyé has more than 10 years of accounting and business consulting experience and helps law firm owners nationwide elevate their success and financial growth. He covers various topics such as business development, client acquisition, profitable hiring, and leveraging technology.
Schaefer specializes in computerized solutions tailored to the legal market and client base ranging from small firms to large enterprises. Schaefer’s expertise lies in determining system requirements, selecting suitable solutions, overseeing application installations, and providing training and support for legal accounting and practice management software.
