Mika Meyers’ attorney and member Nikole L. Canute was recently elected as vice president of the Executive Committee for Boys and Girls Clubs of Grand Rapids Youth Commonwealth.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Grand Rapids Youth Commonwealth’s mission is to enable all young people to reach their full potential as responsible citizens through education, recreation, and positive community experiences.

Canute practices in the areas of labor and employment law, employment litigation, energy and natural resources, civil litigation and oil and gas; and is skilled in handling employment investigations, employment litigation and matters involving computer forensic investigations.

She also specializes in energy matters, including condemnation.

Canute earned her J.D. , cum laude, from Notre Dame Law School, and her undergrad degree, magna cum laude, from Alma College.
