Lang named Litigation Counsel of America Fellow

Brian T. Lang, a partner with Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, has been named a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America.

The Litigation Counsel of America is a national honorary society of trial attorneys who have demonstrated excellence and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels, as well as superior ethical reputation. Lang was nominated by peers to the fellowship, which represent less than one-half of 1% of U.S. lawyers.

Lang practices in Warner’s Muskegon and Grand Rapids offices and focuses on complex real estate disputes and commercial litigation, representing clients in Michigan circuit courts, administrative agencies and federal court.

He formed and chaired Warner’s Real Estate Litigation Practice Group, which includes 18 attorneys across the firm’s nine offices.

He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and Ohio State Bar Association, American Bar Association and Federal Bar Associations for the

Western District of Michigan. He is a board member of the State Bar of Michigan Real Property Law Section Council and its Continuing Legal Education Committee.

He is a member of the Kent County Bar Association and is a former president of and current member of the Muskegon County Bar Association.

Lang is a former long-term board member of the Muskegon Museum of Art and remains a member of its Collections Committee. He also is a member of Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce’s Government Affairs Committee.

He has been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America® for commercial litigation since 2018 and as a Michigan Super Lawyers since 2017. He also has been named a Top Lawyer in litigation – real estate by Grand Rapids Magazine and is a
Fellow of the Michigan State Bar Foundation.

Lang holds a bachelor’s degree cum laude from Hillsdale College and a law degree from Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where he was Order of the Coif graduating with honors and managing editor of the Ohio State Law Journal.
