The Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association will host a MIPLA Gathering on Thursday, May 16, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Birmingham Pub, 555 S. Old Woodward Ave. in Birmingham.

MIPLA will offer an evening of networking with an assortment of beverages and appetizers available. There will be a presentation by Mike Turner on the recent LKQ federal circuit en banc case on design patent obviousness.
