Tickets are now available for A (Habeas) Chorus Line’s show “You Can’t Say That!” on Saturday, May 18, at 7:30 p.m. at Royal Oak Middle School, 709 N. Washington in Royal Oak (between 11 Mile and Catalpa).
Watching old folks stumble through a performance forgetting their lines may not be everyone’s idea of a great time, but enough about the election. Come instead to watch the, ahem, veteran cast of AHCL take another humorous tour of current events, everyday existence and life’s oddities.
A (Habeas) Chorus Line was formed in 1992 for what cast members thought was a one-time performance. The troupe creates parodies of existing show tunes, pop and original numbers. From local issues to national and international events, from judges to lawyers to politicians to celebrities, A (Habeas) Chorus Line is an equal-opportunity lampooner and has a lot of catching up to do.
