The press box, and home and away dugouts at Robert L. Weessies, Jr. Field were demolished last week as part of the bond project Climax-Scotts School District voters approved in 2023. There will be a new infield, backstop and dugouts constructed at the same location, however the right field fence will be constructed in more of a straight line to center field to accommodate the new softball field that will be constructed next to the existing baseball field.
