‘Established Custodial Environment’ examined

The Michigan Judicial Institute in conjunction with the Friend of the Court Bureau is pleased to provide a webinar on “Developing an Understanding of the Established Custodial Environment” on Thursday, November 21, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. via Zoom.

The presenter for this webinar is Larissa Zubac, a senior litigation attorney with Cordell & Cordell Law Firm and a former Ingham County domestic relations referee.
The webinar’s topics will include, but are not limited to:

• Established Custodial Environment Definition.
• Distinctions between the established custodial environment and Child Custody Factors (a) and (b).
• When clear and convincing evidence as opposed to preponderance of the evidence concepts are applied.
• Consideration of the established custodial environment when modifying parenting time.
