The Metropolitan Detroit Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators conducted its 2024 Business Partner Expo with a Halloween theme on Wednesday, October 23, at the Detroit Institute of Arts. The expo is a chance for members to connect with business partners and see the products and services they have to offer. On hand for this year’s Halloween-themed event were (left to right) ALA President Renee Ricken of Pitt, McGehee, Palmer, Bonanni, & Rivers PC; ALA Immediate Past President Dana Burleigh of Butzel Long; ALA Co-Director of Business Partner Relations Deborah Castillo of Dickinson Wright; ALA Online Social Media Committee Director Mallory Markwardt of Dickinson Wright PLLC; ALA Treasurer Kelly Christie of NachtLaw PC; and ALA Vice President/President Elect Jamie Dean of Dickinson Wright PLC. Also during the event, ALA was collecting donations for the Play-Place Autism & Special Needs Center in Sterling Heights, a non-profit, volunteer run center that provides sensory haircuts, field trips, and special-needs, sensitive respite services for children.
