The Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan’s Child Abuse Training Services Program will present a Prosecutors Only seminar on “Forensic Interviewing.” The two day seminar will take place Wednesday and Thursday, January 22-23, at the Royal Park Hotel, 600 E. University Drive in Rochester.
This specific forensic interviewing seminar will focus on what prosecutors should know. Instructors will be training how to use the interview, what to look for in the interview, what the interview should entail, who should be providing the interview, and how to use the information during a trial.
There is no registration fee for this seminar, however, if an attendee fails to complete the entire training, no credit will be given and a fee may be assessed to their county or organization. Registering by the cut-off date does not guarantee attendance. Confirmation details for this seminar will be sent out approximately two weeks prior to the seminar date.
