The Michigan Judicial Institute will offer “Pathways to Parentage: An Overview of the Michigan Family Protection Act Webinar” on Thursday, February 6, from noon to 1:30 p.m.

What is assisted reproduction, how can it be used by Michigan families to establish parentage, and what is the court’s role? This webinar will explore the safeguards for assisted reproduction including surrogacy, recently established in Act 24 of 2024, and the role of Michigan courts in this process.
