On Thursday, 31-year-old Steven Bryce Wheeler was found guilty of first-degree murder and felony firearm by a Macomb County jury for murdering his wife in the presence of two of their children.
In October 2023, Wheeler shot his wife in the head five times with a .45 caliber handgun in their home.
Sentencing is scheduled February 26.
