The meeting is intended to provide details on the housing needs assessment process and how the assessment will be used in the future.
“This is clearly a big part of what the Macomb Regional Housing Partnership is intended to do,” said Andrew Cox, Director/Health Officer of the Macomb County Department of Health and Community Services. “By providing a public forum for cross-sector collaboration and exchange, we’re hoping to create new housing opportunities, reduce gaps and help establish stability in the housing ecosystem in Macomb County.”
The Housing Needs Assessment kickoff meeting will be particularly informative for:
Housing advocacy organizations
Nonprofit organizations
Community advocates
Local planners
Local government officials
Housing developers
Landlords
Local community/economic developers
Growing/emerging employers
Homeless services providers
Macomb County residents
