ABA Tax Section to host series of state and property tax seminars in New Orleans

A multidisciplinary faculty that includes appraisers, government and private sector tax officials and tax attorneys will discuss current state and local tax issues facing businesses and industries at the 2025 ABA-IPT Advanced Tax Seminars, March 10-14 at the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans in Louisiana.

The seminars, sponsored by the American Bar Association Section of Taxation and the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, are designed for attorneys, accountants, tax directors, state and local tax managers, government tax officials, appraisers, property tax managers, commercial and industrial property managers and others interested in sales, use, ad valorem taxation of property and state income tax.

The three programs to be held are: Advanced State Income Tax Seminar, March 10-11; Advanced Sales and Use Tax Seminar, March 11-12; and Advanced Property Tax Seminar, March 13-14.

• “New and Evolving Issues for Property Tax Attorneys”
