Fireside chat
The D. Augustus Straker Bar Association along with the Young Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Michigan and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law conducted a “Legal Legends Black History Month Fireside Chat” on Wednesday, February 28, at Detroit Pizza Bar in Detroit. Attorneys were encouraged to bring a mentee or meet a mentee to engage in conversation with legendary legal giants while enjoying complimentary cuisine from a black owned establishment.
