The DEI Committee of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan (WLAM) will host an online panel discussion on “Navigating Disability in the Legal Profession” on Thursday, March 27, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. via Zoom.
The discussion will explore practicing law while managing a disability, illness, or condition. The panelists will provide insight into how attorneys, legal professionals, and law students can find support or resources within their respective communities and places of work, among other tools, allowing them to build successful legal careers.
Panelists include Ann Motl, senior counsel; Lauren Clements, senior corporate counsel; Jill Babcock, senior policy analyst - Fair Housing; Valerie Kutz-Otway, attorney; Michigan Supreme Court Justice Richard H. Bernstein.
