Each county will provide viewers with details and examples from their respective day treatment program, from inception to current operation.
The webinar’s faculty will discuss several key topics, including:
• How each county program was developed and its intended purpose.
• The significance of collaboration with community stakeholders and the role of those partnerships in the program’s operation.
• The role of each county’s judge within their respective programs.
• The impact of these programs on youth and families.
Speaking at the webinar will be Eaton County Probate Court Judge Amanda Pollard; Jeremy Mulvany, director of the Eaton County Youth facility; Kellie Ward, monitoring probation officer for the Eaton County Day Treatment program; 53rd Circuit Court Judge Daryl P. Vizina, Family Division; Kyle Culbertson, director of Juvenile Services for Cheboygan County; and Megan M. Fenlon, a probation officer for Cheboygan County and the director for the Compass Academy.
The intended audience for the webinar is juvenile justice county implementation team members, judges, court administrators, juvenile probation officers and caseworkers, courts, law enforcement, school personnel, attorneys, social service providers, other juvenile justice stakeholders, and child welfare professionals.
