Love is always present in our life. Saying hello in a kind manner in a store becomes a journey into Love. Giving a generous tip in a restaurant is an action of love. Giving a hug to someone is an act of love. A kind smile brings love to that person. The desire to be loved by other people is really a desire to experience God’s Love. Every positive interaction is an experience of love. Every experience of love is search and a desire for God. As I look at all creation, the birds, the trees, the amazing organization of the human body, kindness between people, I am experiencing the wisdom and love of God. Every moment of life I experience being surrounded by God’s Love. It inspires me to seek and look for this amazing Love in each moment of life.
It can be so easy to minimize and forget this basic principle of life: God’s Love and Wisdom surrounds everyone and everything in life. Every positive desire is a desire for God. Every positive interaction becomes a connection with God. When someone is loving or kind to me, I will experience God’s Presence. When I am loving and kind to someone else by words and actions, they will also experience God’s Presence and so will I.
All of this is so very simple and so very helpful. When I lose a friend through death, I become more aware that they are on that permanent journey into God. The embrace of that journey becomes a profound experience and a profound embrace of God. When I begin to understand that my life is a continual journey into God, every moment of life becomes so uplifting and deepens my experience of God.
In these articles that I write, I keep realizing how simple they are and how so often I am writing about spirituality and an experience of God. I am realizing more and more the simplicity of life. I must embrace this simplicity because in this embrace I will then consistently have a profound experience of a loving God and I will begin to understand the importance of embracing this. Each moment is so precious and so filled with God’s Loving Presence. Each moment is a search for God and a search for God’s amazing and eternal love. To realize this is a positive journey into God. When I keep things simple, I experience an amazing presence of a loving God. When I remain gently reflective throughout this day, I learn to experience the amazing love of God and the help and wisdom God is always pouring into me. I become humbly grateful. And I realize more that every moment of life is meant to be a humble and gentle experience of God.
As I type this article on this quiet Holy Saturday so it can be sent and ready for the Legal News to put into Tuesday’s newspapers, I feel so grateful to be able to write these articles. They help me get into a deeper experience of God and a deeper experience of what life is all about. This journey through life becomes so uplifting when I allow my awareness how every experience of being loving and kind is a genuine experience of God. Tonight, I will attend a Holy Saturday service with a loving group of spiritual minded friends who have had a such a positive influence on my life. We did this last year and we are going to do this again this year. It is like an evening of a profound, spiritual and loving experience of God. Our doing this together is so loving, caring and positive and such a profound experience. Where love is, there is God.
