Varnum named among Best Law Firms to Work For
For the second consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report has named Varnum to its 2025 Class of Best Companies to Work For among U.S. law firms. The ranking recognizes exceptional workplaces within the legal industry, highlighting firms that excel in creating a positive and supportive professional environment.
The U.S. News & World Report Best Companies to Work For employs a unique approach, drawing inspiration from Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs to formulate an ‘Employee’s Hierarchy of Needs.’ The evaluation process, conducted by a panel of experts at U.S. News & World Report, assesses law firms nationwide on six key factors:
Quality of pay and benefits
Work/life balance and flexibility
Job and company stability
Physical and psychological comfort
Belongingness and esteem
Career opportunities and professional development
Varnum earned commendable results in all six factors.
