The annual Macomb Business Awards, an initiative which will celebrate local businesses and organizations for their innovations, generosity and agility. is scheduled for Thursday, May 15 at 8:30 a.m. at the AMC Forum 30 in Sterling Heights.

The event, now in its 13th year, will honor businesses in the following categories: Best Place to Work, Fueling the Talent Pipeline, Green Macomb Sustainability, Hidden Gem,
Manufacturer of the Year (presented by Macomb Next), and Nonprofit of the Year (presented by Advancing Macomb).

An Economic Development Partner of the Year will also be named.

One of the region’s largest gatherings is presented by Consumers Energy. Additional sponsors include the Detroit Regional Partnership, First State Bank, ITC, JVIS, Macomb/St. Clair Michigan Works!, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, OneMacomb, Connect Macomb, Macomb Community College, the Macomb County Chamber, the Macomb Intermediate School District, RCO Engineering, and SMART.
