Several local students have been recognized by various colleges and universities:
• Athens student Carter Mann was named to Albion College’s Dean’s List for the Spring 2025 semester. Mann is a junior at Albion College. He is the child of Christina and Jered Mann of Athens and is a graduate of Vicksburg Community High School.
• Andreana Farrell, an elementary education major from Galesburg, was named to the University of Louisiana Monroe’s Spring 2025 President’s List.
• Jennifer Spencer of Galesburg, a Trine University student, was named to the Vice President’s List for the Fall 2024 term. Spencer is majoring in BS in Information Systems.
• Ryan DeHaan of Climax, a Trine University student, was named to the President’s List for the Spring 2025 term. DeHaan is majoring in Sport Management.
