Pro bono recognitions
Legal Services Corporation (LSC) recognized several Michigan attorneys and a law firm for their exemplary pro bono service at a reception on Tuesday, July 15, at Ford Field in the Comerica Gridiron Club in Detroit. Thomas Linn (center) was among the honorees. As co-chair of Miller Canfield PLC’s Pro Bono Committee, Linn spearheaded initiatives to expand the firm’s pro bono impact, creating a summer associate program focused on service, building partnerships with community organizations, and encouraging firm-wide engagement. Linn also serves as president of Lakeshore Legal Aid’s Board of Directors. Happy to congratulate Linn at the reception were guest speaker former Detroit Mayor and former American Bar Association President Dennis Archer (left), of Dickinson Wright PLLC; and LSC Board Chair John Levi (right). Also honored at the reception were Barbara Bowman, Bodman PLC; William Cowdry, board chair at Legal Services of Eastern Michigan; Jeff Davis, Barnes & Thornburg; and Warner Norcross + Judd LLP.
