The Prosecuting Attorney Association of Michigan’s Child Abuse Prosecution Resources (CAPR) until will conduct a “Canine Advocate Program Training” online Wednesday, August 27, beginning at noon.
PAAM’s CAPR unit will present Saint Clair County Victims Rights Coordinator and Canine Advocate Handler Cortney Carl who will provide an overview of the Canine Advocate Program as well as the updated statute language that allows for canines in the courtroom. Attendees will also learn how to best utilize their canine in and outside of the office.
