Oakland Mediation Center (OMC), a mediation and conflict resolution training facility, invites legal professionals to participate in its Virtual Guardianship\Probate Mediation Training in 2025.
The SCAO Approved Guardianship/Probate Training is a 16-Hour Advanced mediator training, broken in to four, 4-hour sessions. This training will be held virtually using the Zoom platform. Training will allow current mediators, an opportunity to refresh and enhance their knowledge and skill set in understanding the nature and dynamics of adult guardianship and eldercare mediation and more.
“OMC has been dedicated to providing quality mediation training for over 36 years,” said Charity Burke, OMC executive director. “Our training is designed to give participants, from all backgrounds, skills they can use immediately to serve and make a lasting impact on our community.”
The training will take place September 18, 19, 25, 26 from 1 to 5 p.m. each day via Zoom. The cost of training is $599. Participants will build on the elements of communication, problem-solving, and facilitation skills that are used in both group mediations and meetings. Upon completion of training participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
