Bloomfield Township Senior Services hosting October blood drive

On Wednesday, October 15, the Bloomfield Township Senior Center and the Bloomfield Hills Rotary Club will be hosting a blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross. Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood, the Red Cross says. By donating blood, people are helping to save lives.

Bloomfield Township Senior Services Director and long-time Rotarian Christine Tvaroha proclaims, “Time and compassion are all that is needed.” She concludes, “please give a gift that is quite literally life-changing.”

The October 15 blood drive will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bloomfield Township Senior Center Community Room A and B, 4315 Andover Road in Bloomfield Hills.

Those interested can schedule an appointment in advance by visiting RedCrossBlood.org and enter sponsor code: BHRotary or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
