The LifeWays Board of Directors has named Cassandra Watson as new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LifeWays, succeeding Maribeth Leonard, who will retire next year after 33 years with Lifeways, the last 13 as CEO.
Watson has been employed by LifeWays since 2016, and has served as its Executive Director, Clinical Services since 2022.
She is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and Michigan State University and holds certifications and licenses as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
LifeWays provides mental health support, information, and services to residents of Jackson and Hillsdale counties.
LifeWays ensures that all county residents who have a severe mental illness, emotional disturbance, intellectual or developmental disability, or substance use disorder receive the services they need to assist them in recovery.
