‘New Sheriff Deputies’
Deputy Matthew Kester and Deputy Cadence Brown have joined the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office after graduating from an intensive 17-week program at the Mid-Michigan Police Academy at Lansing Community College. Both deputies will begin approximately four months of field training before assuming solo patrol duties.
