The Labor and Employment Law Section (LELS) of the State Bar of Michigan will conduct its LELS Mid-Winter & Annual Meeting on Thursday, January 29, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Detroit Athletic Club, 241 Madison Ave. in Detroit.
This year’s Mid-Winter Meeting is a little bit different. LELS is offering shorter case law updates on employment law and labor law, concurrently, from 3 to 4 p.m. Attendees are then invited to mingle at a cocktail hour from 4 to 5 p.m. After cocktail hour, the Annual Meeting will be conducted, followed by the honoring of the 2026 Distinguished Service Award recipient(s). Guests will enjoy a plated dinner while keynote speaker Michigan Supreme Court Justice Elizabeth Welch addresses the group.
