Thursday Night Music Club's free concert on February 12 welcomes Karisa Wilson, an award winning singer-songwriter from West Michigan.
Her debut album "Little Girl" won the WYCE's Album of the Year Jammie, one of Michigan's most prestigious indie music awards.
Karisa writes and performs a jazz infused folk, or Americana.
She's also a classically trained violinist.
The event is set 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Norton Shores branch of the MADL.

‘Gershwin’s Piano Concerto’

The West Michigan Symphony will present ‘Gershwin’s Piano Concert’ at 7:30 p.m., Friday, February 27, at the Frauenthal Center.
The concert will feature a musical program that reflects the influences of American jazz, African-American spirituals and folk themes. With Kellen Gray, conductor; Michelle Cann, piano; Michael Ellis Ingram, Overture to Jubilee Gershwin Concerto in F; and the Dawson Negro Folk Symphony.
