The shareholders of Foster Swift Collins & Smith, P.C. have elected two attorneys to shareholders, both in the Lansing office: Alaina M. Nelson and Gabrielle C. Lawrence.
Nelson is a member of the firm’s Trusts and Estates Practice Group, and works on general estate planning matters, estate and gift tax planning, estate and trust administration, and international estate planning. She first joined Foster Swift in 2018, participating in the firm’s summer associate program and returned in 2019 after graduating from Michigan State University’s College of Law.
Lawrence serves family law clients across mid-Michigan in a wide variety of matters, from straightforward divorces to adoption and other complicated family situations such as custody, parenting time and support issues. In the area of estate planning, she specializes in probate, estate planning, and trust administration, and has helped clients navigate the ever-changing area of federal estate taxes.
